SARCAM v1 (2019)

Early versions of SARCAM included different DIY camera designs.

However, even those DIY hardware variants still build upon an array of elaborated and powerful high-level yet affordable subsystem components, like a drone gimbal.

One idea that has been followed was to use a single camera system on such a gimbal in a watertight enclosure for long-distance and perimeter coverage.
