Troubleshooting¶
General¶
Q: No image appears after startup of the software?
A: Please check power supply to the camera? If its powered on, please check if you can access it via its IP in the browser.
Q: Stabilization of the images is a working properly?
A: Be sure you have enabled gyro+motor based stabilization in the menue. You can additionally activate software+horizon based stabiliztion in the menue. If there is a difference but its not stable enough, talk to use, but usually thats all we can do.
Q: Blackbox recording always disabled?
A: Thats normal for now.
Q: Thermal camera shows a permanent dot in the video.
A: Seems like you accidentially pointed the camera towards the sun. If your lucky the point vanishes over time (hours).
NADIR¶
Q: Focus or zoom control doesnt work?
A: Disable all stabilizations first, then focus control should work. But both can be as of now a bit glitchy, so you may need to try multiple times to control those two to end up where you want to be.
SOS-Humanity 1¶
Q: Camera seems to not move anymore with controller.
A: First restart the camera via powercycle. If this doesnt help, start the “Movement Watchdog” desktop program to reset the movement safety watchdog. This safety feature tries to stop the camera in case it moves too fast then usually expect and protects the camera. Then try again moving the camera.
